Still have questions about Folio Offices and shared office spaces? Below are our answers to help clarify some of your questions about what shared workspaces are like and how to get started.

Are shared workspaces expensive?

Compared to a traditional office, coworking is definately more cost effective. Plus, Folio covers the cost of Wi-Fi, utilities, coffee, and other office essentials.

Do I need a business license or LLC to work at Folio Offices?

No, you do not need a business license or LLC with the state of Michigan to work at Folio. Whether you need a quiet space to study or a professional setting to launch your business, Folio has a space for you!

Will I have my own space away from other workers if I need it?

Yes, if you are in need of a quiet space with more privacy we have great offices for you. If you're feeling social or would like some company while you work, we invite you to work in our common area that is always available for other shared workers to enjoy as well. Remember, you can always rent a conference room or jump in a phone booth!

Can I bring guests into Folio Offices for in-person meetings?

Yes! Your membership includes 2 guests per month, and then a $5 guest fee will apply.

Can I come in to work at Folio Offices on weekends and holidays?

Yes, as a member you have 24/7 access to the space. Please keep in mind we are not staffed holidays, or weekends.
